Examples of Our Work
Here are a few photographs and descriptions of stairs we've built in the past.
| Building Codes: Verify with your local building inspector the
requirements before ordering any spiral stair. Pictured is a typical Steel
Spiral Stair made to comply with this customer's local requirements: 60"
Diameter with a 30 degree tread angle, 4 balusters per tread with a partial
riser. |

Exterior stair construction: Exterior stairs by Steel Spiral
Stairs feature solid bar stock construction which eliminates rusting from the
inside. This stair shows 3/4" square solid bar main balusters and 1/2" mid tread
balusters. This stair was also hot dipped galvanized to further deter rusting
and a painted top coat was applied. |
| You can do as little or as much as you like. Steel Spiral
Stairs can supply well rails, unfinished wood treads and partial risers, and
finishes such as galvanizing. This customer supplied his own wood treads and
risers, well rails to match the deck and had the stair hot-dip
galvanized. |

This is an interior straight stair with construction similar to our spiral stairs. The railing and wood treads match the spiral seen in background. Like our handmade custom spirals, straight stairs are made to order and available in numerous combinations of treads, railings, stringers etc. |
